As a member of NAME, I had signed up to attend the 2002
NAME convention in 2002, and found that I couldn't attend. I had already paid, so they sent me the kit. This is what I've done with my kit. I didn't understand some of the directions and found out later, that the heart is supposed to be laying down. Guess that's what makes it "me". Some pieces I added myself. The tuxedo is a Jolee sticker that I shortened a bit and hung in the trunk. The stereoscope and negligee in the top drawer of the trunk, I bought from Larrianne's Small Wonders in Ventura, CA. The champagne bucket was made from a broken thimble and button, the bottle purchased, as were the champagne glasses. The rose is Fimo and made by me. The hat box was made a very long time ago (one of my first minis) and was an online kit from one of the mini lists that is no longer running. The print just seemed to fit, although I think it's a bit on the big side. All other pieces were included in the kit already made up, or in kit form. The glass case doesn't fit the piece well, but will do for now. At least it's being kept clean this way. I had a fun time putting this together. It will be for my granddaughter's wedding, which is a long way off, hopefully.
