Eggcentricities

This was an absolute fun egg to do. It was taught by Helen Cook of England.
The rocks are formed over pieces of styrofoam and covered with cold porcelain and then painted with oil paints. This was a new introduction to cold porcelain for me and I use it all the time now. The grapes are tiny colored ballentine over a cold porcelain cone base. Some of the pieces were already made for us, like the fairies, the pool, and a few of the flowers, in order to save time. The waterfall is a piece of pop bottle with clear silicone over it. The rocks took a good block of time, and it took me another four weeks at home to finish this egg. Then I dropped it while showing it to someone. It was a scurry to fix it, but it all went together quite nicely.
